Golf in Isosaari
Isosaari has a 9-hole golf course which was built in the 1980s. When the island was closed to the public, only a select few were allowed to play there, including a president of Finland and his guests. But now the course is open to everyone!
The course is a unique combination of stunningly beautiful scenery and challenging play, with fairways between 60-150 metres long. It is the most difficult par-3 course in Finland.
Isosaari has three saunas, all located on the northern shore of the island: Rantala (max 8 persons), Koivula (max 15 persons) and Haapala (max 60 persons). Rantala is located near the Upseerikerho restaurant, while Kouvula and Haapala are one hundred metres west, next to a sandy beach.
